| We’re
not talking the heavy, brown stuff that turns you
orange, either. A nice tan doesn’t have to mean
laying in the sun and letting it damage your skin.
There are ways to get that “just got back from the
Caribbean” look without leaving the house. While
you’re at it, you may consider the fact that you
can help prevent wrinkles as you age by using the
right skin protection when you are young. Bonus!
“The
naturally acquired ‘great tan’ is obtained at a
price, i.e., premature aging, suppressed immune
function of the skin (which is at least temporary),
and an increased risk of skin cancer. Such a tan
is not only not healthy, but passé and obsolete.”

There
are a lot of self-tanning products out on the market
these days but the problem with many of these is
that they are more “bronzing agents” than true self-tanners.
Meaning, they come out of a tube brown and dye the
skin with a color that is darker than the natural
skin tone. Another problem with such products is
that they don’t help to prevent the damage that
the sun does in the first place. A good self-tanner
enhances the natural color of the skin so you get
a light, natural looking tan.
California
North, a company whose product line was developed
for boaters and athletes, created a self tanner
that breaks the mold of traditional self tanning
products. It comes out of the tube “white” - not
orange or brown. It doesn’t smell like chemicals.
It has a built in SPF 7 sunscreen and contains skin
conditioners that actually improve your skin every
time you use it.
Try
using Titanium Self Tanner for yourself and see
what a safe tan looks like. We think you will be
pleasantly impressed. Using an exfoliating scrub
before applying this product will yield the best
results. |
